Wellesley Login


The Wellesley Login allows alumnae to sign into various College systems and websites using a single username and password. 

Your Login for All Wellesley Systems, Including:

  • A new online community, including customized websites for classes, clubs and shared interest groups
  • The Class Notes section of the new Wellesley magazine website
  • Volunteer tools (including the online Report of Giving)
  • Select parts of the College website

How Does It Work?

Your Wellesley Login account is hosted by Google, so your Wellesley username and password also works with all of the Google apps: Mail, Calendar, Drive, and more!

Setting Up Your Account

All alumnae were sent an email notification with their usernames, passwords, and wellesley.edu email addresses. If you don't have this information, you can request your username and a temporary password online using Wellesley College's Library & Technology Services' brand new, automatic password reset feature. Please click here to access the reset app.

You will need four pieces of information for the reset app: your last name when you were a student, your date of birth, your class year, and the email address we have on file for you. Enter this information, then press confirm.

An email with a temporary password will be sent to your preferred email address. Please note that if it has been a while since you have updated your contact information, we may not have an email address on record for you, or the email address we have may no longer be active. If you do not receive a temporary password email from us or you have trouble resetting your password using the link above, please check in with the Wellesley College Help Desk at 781.283.7777 or helpdesk@wellesley.edu. They are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.


What does Wellesley Login mean?
Alumnae now have a single Wellesley College login (one username and password) for all Wellesley systems. These include:

How do I reset my password?
You can reset your password by clicking here. As noted above, you will need four pieces of information to use our automatic password reset app.
What about my old username and login that I used to get into the Wellesley community?
That username and password are no longer valid.  Please use your Wellesley Login.
Why did you send me an @wellesley.edu account?
The Wellesley College Alumnae Association is happy to present you with your very own Wellesley College Gmail account. As you change jobs, addresses, and Internet access providers throughout your lifetime, your Wellesley email address (first initial and last name@wellesley.edu) will remain constant. Friends, business associates, and family will always be able to reach you. In addition to all of the Google tools (mail, calendar, drive, etc.)
What is the difference between my username and my @wellesley.edu email address?
Your username is the first part of your @wellesley.edu email address, usually your first initial and last name. We have emailed you a username that you will use to login to the MyWellesley portal for alumnae. This web portal provides you access to key services and information at the College, including:
  • Career Education
  • Your unofficial transcript
  • The "Daily Shot" from the College's home page

Here are some other facts about usernames:

  • The login is limited to eight characters, including your first initial, and is not your full name if your name is longer than this.
  • You cannot change your username.

Every alumna was emailed at least one email address. Some people were given additional email addresses (aliases) based on information you have registered with the college. If you did not receive your email address from us, please contact the Wellesley College Help Desk at helpdesk@wellesley.edu or 781.283.7777. They are open between 8:30 am - 4:30 PM EST Monday through Friday to answer questions.

What is an email alias?
The Wellesley College Identity Management System (WIDM) creates your Wellesley Account with a username, primary email address, and alternate email addresses (email aliases) that you can use for sending and receiving email. Learn more about the aliases that were created for you or request a different one.
How do I update my profile information?
Please update your information by emailing profileupdates@alum.wellesley.edu. 
(Please include your first name, college last name, current last name, class year, and email address.) or you can do it yourself by logging into alum.wellesley.edu and going to your profile.
How can I forward this Wellesley.edu email to another email account?
You can have your wellesley.edu emails automatically forwarded to another email address. You can forward all of your new messages, or just specific kinds of messages. Click here for instructions.

To forward emails from another email provider to Gmail, you'll have to change your settings in the other account, not in Gmail. Visit your other email provider's help center to find out if automatic forwarding is available and how to set it up.

What will happen to my @alum.wellesley.edu forwarding address?
We will be maintaining all @alum.wellesley.edu forwarding addresses.
