Sylvana Quader Sinha Founder and CEO of Praava Health

A family emergency in 2011 awoke Sinha to the fact that, despite consumer spending power and desire, no amount of money offered access to quality healthcare in Bangladesh. This inspired her to found Praava Health — meaning “beam of light.” Today, Praava serves 700K+ patients and is Bangladesh's fastest-growing healthcare brand. Its unique platform combines innovative digital health offerings - including remote care management - with a full suite of high quality in-clinic services. Praava’s model, at once, addresses pandemic preparedness, health resilience to climate change, and NCD mortality.
Ms. Sinha is a widely-recognized authority on identifying and building resilient market-opening businesses in economies and sectors where potential has yet to be unlocked, with 25+ years of experience spanning public and private sectors. Prior to founding Praava, Ms. Sinha’s work bridged the most advanced capital markets with least developed frontier economies. Ms. Sinha is a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a member of the WEF’s UHC2030 Private Sector Constituency. She also serves on the board of PATH.org. She is a graduate of Wellesley College, Columbia Law School, and Harvard’s Kennedy School.
