Journeys in Finance: Alumnae Career Conversation (Webinar, May 2020)

This is a recording of a conversation with Tasha Beg '13, Consultant Relations Associate at Neuberger Berman and Elizabeth Morgan '13 Investor Relations Associate at Lindsay Goldberg. No two journeys are the same. Career journeys are rarely linear and for many there is exploration with every step. Both, Elizabeth and Tasha, have agreed to share their experiences since graduating 2013 and bring real-world insight into your exploration. 

Biographies

Tasha Beg '13 is a Consultant Relations Associate at Neuberger Berman, where she works as part of the wider institutional client coverage team helping to market various investment products across traditional and alternative strategies. Prior to joining Neuberger, Tasha was a fund of funds Product Specialist at UBS and an Investor Relations Associate at Scopia Capital. Tasha began her career in finance as an Investment Banking Analyst at Deutsche Bank within the Healthcare group. She graduated Wellesley in 2013 with a double major in Economics and Middle Eastern Studies. While at Wellesley, Tasha was a student manager at the CWS and President of the Economics Student Association.

Elizabeth Morgan '13 is an Investor Relations Associate at Lindsay Goldberg, a New York-based private equity firm that focuses on partnering with family-owned and founder-led businesses and has raised more than $16 billion of equity capital. In this role, Elizabeth is responsible for supporting Lindsay Goldberg’s ongoing fundraising initiatives and reporting efforts as well as leading the firm’s Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Program. Prior to joining Lindsay Goldberg in April of 2017, Elizabeth worked in wealth management at Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor Associate (FAA). She began her career as a due diligence analyst in Morgan Stanley’s Corporate Security & Investigations Department. Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with a major in American Studies and a minor in Psychology from Wellesley College in May of 2013. While at Wellesley, Elizabeth was a member of the varsity soccer team, club sailing team, Italian Society, and Residential Life staff. She also completed a semester abroad in Bologna, Italy and cross registered for courses at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Babson College.
