Frank Williams Visiting Artist Lecture

Sarah Oppenheimer

Friday, September 29, 2017 - 12:30pm
Jewett Art Center 450 Classroom

Thanks to a unique collaboration with Frank Williams, the Studio Art program has the honor of hosting a special visiting artist speaker each semester who meets with advanced students privately in the studios and gives a slide talk that is free and open to the public.
Sarah Oppenheimer is a distinguished artist who explores the boundaries of spatial and temporal adjacency in surprising ways. Recent projects include solo exhibitions at Kunsthaus Baselland (2014), MUDAM Luxembourg (2016), the Pérez Art Museum in Miami (2016), and the Wexner Center for the Arts (2017). Permanent projects include W-120301 (2012) at the Baltimore Museum of Art, and 610-3365 (2008) at the Mattress Factory. She is a senior critic at the Yale University School of Art.
Generously supported by the Williams Visiting Artists in honor of Rachael Arauz ’91.
