She spent the fall semester of her junior year studying abroad in Córdoba, Spain. At Wellesley, Gloria has served on the executive board of MEZCLA, the largest Latin@ organization on campus. She also volunteers with Stronger Communities, Stronger Schools, through which she tutors students from Boston’s underprivileged public schools, and works in the Political Science Department office performing administrative tasks. She is fluent in Spanish. This summer, Gloria hopes to intern in Latin America with a non-profit organization focused on human rights or education. In the future, she hopes to attend law school and work on immigration policy in the United States.
