In the spring she will studying health policy in Kenya focusing on hospital systems and Kenyan government relations. In the spring of 2024, Angelique worked in Tetel lab where she sorted and analyzed nutritional data, measuring dietary impact on the vaginal microbiome. In the summer of 2022 and 2024, she shadowed in psychiatry and anesthesiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. On campus, Angelique works is a student assistant for Harambee House where she plans, organizes, and facilitates events for black students on campus. Along with her studies, she volunteers with the Alzheimer’s buddies, assisting patients with Alzhiemer’s disease . Angelique’s goal upon graduation is to work with an international organization on health systems and community infrastructure.
