On campus, she is the President of Wellesley Al-Muslimat and a Resident Assistant. Her interest in the intersection of technology and people led her to work with MIT’s AgeLab, where she conducted research on how home-technologies could improve the well-being of older adults and their caregivers. Anushé has volunteered in various Syrian refugee camps in Greece and Jordan and interned with the international NGO Jusoor in 2018 to implement an experiential summer curriculum for Syrian refugee children in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon. Anushé is a native Urdu and Hindi speaker, and an advanced Arabic speaker. In the future, Anushé hopes to start her own technology consulting firm that works at the forefront of the refugee crisis, climate crisis, and education.
