Her coursework includes quantum mechanics and statistical mechanics, as well as architectural history. Since her arrival on campus, she has been working on the implementation of Wellesley’s new finance, HR, and student records system, Workday. She speaks English, Swedish, French, and German. Her research has centered on superfluidity in neutron stars. Astrid is interested in the role of infrastructure in urban development and hopes to work in urban planning.
