She is currently writing her thesis on the beta decay of 142-Lanthanum, which has applications to nuclear safeguard and spent fuel studies.
She has been participating in particle and nuclear physics research at Brookhaven National Laboratory over the past two years. She spent the Fall semester of her junior year studying at the University of St Andrews, taking courses in physics and theology as well as exploring the local culture and school traditions.
On campus, Caroline is a member of Schneider Board of Governors and is the President of the Equestrian team and Newman Catholic Ministry. Caroline’s goal upon graduation is to continue exploring nuclear physics research and to pursue a graduate degree with a similar focus.
