Her passion for social justice and community development led her to pursue an internship at Baan Dada Children’s Home in Sangkhlaburi, Thailand in the summer of 2018, where she learned about relief work that targets under-served rural populations. As a research student at Wellesley, Elizabeth studies how noble gases can be used to understand air-sea gas exchange. On campus, she is a member of the varsity cross country and track teams and is involved with the Ministrare Council through her work as an Alternative Break coordinator. She would like to leverage her knowledge of chemistry to better understand and mitigate anthropogenic impacts on ecosystems.
