Jillian is a junior majoring in Political Science.

Her interests lie within law and policy-making , specifically health law and food law. For the past two summers, Jillian has worked in her home state as a summer intern for Senator Erica D. Smith at the North Carolina General Assembly. On campus, Jillian is a member of the varsity lacrosse team, a student-run cooperative called El Table, and she has volunteered with Mission Hill After School Program for the past two years. She is currently the president of Ethos, Wellesley’s oldest organization for students of African descent. Jillian’s goal is to work with a policy advocacy organization that focuses on improving access to healthcare for rural, Black communities.
