She studied abroad her sophomore spring with the Wellesley-in-Paris program to research the legacy of French colonialism. In the summer of 2023, Nico worked at the YMCA of the East Bay as a social work and policy intern. On campus, she is the secretary for the Tau Zeta Epsilon Society and a member of WZLY Radio. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in education policy, law, or the study of music globalization.
