In the summer of 2015, she interned at Social Accountability International where she worked on projects relating to social auditing and accreditation in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility. Sanam is proficient in Mandarin. She spent the fall of her Junior year in Shanghai, China. While abroad, in addition to language and area studies courses, Sanam also worked as an intern at Intralink, a business strategy and development firm focused on navigating Asian markets, and at the Albright Stonebridge Group in Shanghai. Going foreword, Sanam hopes to pursue work that involves U.S.-Asia commercial diplomacy and also tackles issues of sustainable growth that affect both regions.
