Throughout her time at Wellesley, she has had the opportunity to explore the effects of social, cultural, and historical forces on global health disparities. During summer 2021, she interned with National Alzheimer's Buddies, a nonprofit dedicated to building personal connections between college students and Alzheimer's residents. Following that experience, she spent a semester in Bremen, Germany, where she engaged in comparative study of American and European healthcare systems. On campus, Sanjana is involved in marine microbiology research with the Biller Lab, serves as co-president of the Taekwon-Do Club, and sings a cappella with the Tupelos. After graduation, she plans to attend medical school. She is particularly interested in providing primary care for the historically underserved, including migrants, refugees, and BIPOC communities.
