Mojave

Apple released Mojave on September 24, 2018. If your computer runs an older macOS version, Mojave is a good first step toward a true upgrade.

Take the following into account when considering use of macOS Mojave:

• You may need to upgrade to Microsoft Office 2019 or later.
• You may need to upgrade Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Cisco AnyConnect users must enable the AnyConnect software extension in their macOS Preferences Security & Privacy pane. A reboot may be required after manually approving the AnyConnect extension.
• Due to Apple's privacy restrictions in macOS Mojave 10.14 for files and folders containing personal data, Code42 (used for college-owned computer backups) cannot back up some files from apps like Contacts, Photos, and Mail until you grant access to the Code42 app.

If you wish to upgrade your computer to Mojave, and you use highly specialized academic software or have installed unique personal software, please verify with the vendor that it is compatible with Mojave before upgrading, or contact LTS for assistance with this.

Before upgrading, make sure you have a backup of all your data. (College-owned computers use Code42; for personally-owned computers, follow Apple's suggestions.)
